"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3:20
Just as children go to their parents whenever there is a need, so we are invited to go to our heavenly Father and ask for what we need or knock when a door must be opened. Through our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, we have access to the Father, and we may ask in His name. But this privilege does not belong to everyone. Only those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ can truly call God their Father. Yet the invitation is extended to all people. He stands at the door and knocks, and to the one who opens his heart, the Lord will surely come in and dwell within that person.
Do not ignore the voice of the Holy Spirit. Another knocking is never guaranteed. Receive the Lord Jesus Christ today, while the door of grace is open.
