| "Of Old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; yes, they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak You will change them, and they will be changed." - Psalm 102:25, 26
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." - 2 Peter 3:10
Heaven and earth, as we behold them today, will one day be changed. At the final judgment, our Lord will renew the heavens and the earth, bringing forth a new creation for His redeemed and for the heavenly hosts to dwell. Our Lord Himself will dwell among His people, and death shall be no more. But the wicked will be cast into the lake of fire, for all who reject the grace of God offered through Jesus Christ our Lord will perish. Yet even now, our Lord with outstretched arms, is willing to receive all who come to Him in faith.
Praise the Lord!
