| "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, of it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.' " - Romans 1:16, 17
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain." - Galatians 2:20, 21
To those who do not believe, the gospel often appears like an old story from a distant century, passed along and questioned at every turn. Some doubt the writings and the authors behind them. But we must remember that the gospel belongs to God, and He faithfully guards His Word so that His truth endures.
Let us stand unashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God that brings salvation to all who believe. The righteous live by faith. So let us walk by faith, live for Jesus Christ, and shine the light of His gospel into a world drifting into darkness.
