| "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." - Isaiah 55:11
"...Then He [Jesus] arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, 'Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!' " - Luke 8:24,25
Jesus Christ our Lord is the eternal Word of God. He is God in flesh, the Alpha and the Omega. By His word all things came into existence, for He spoke and creation obeyed. In the midst of a fearsome storm, He commanded the winds and the waves, and there was a great calm. Creation responded to its Creator, for His word never returns void. All that our Lord purposes, He will surely accomplish. We worship the true and living God, the Creator of the universe.
