"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." - John 15:11
What do we count as our greatest joys in life? Many things may bring us happiness for a moment, and we might even have a long list of what delights us. But is delighting in the Lord at the top of that list? For every believer, the joy of the Lord is not occasional or fragile—it is steady, enduring, and rooted in the unchanging love of Christ.
We rejoice because our Lord loves us with an everlasting love, and He gave Himself for us. He alone is the source of true joy, for every other form of happiness fades and passes away. But the joy that comes from knowing Christ, trusting Him, and walking with Him remains firm through every season.
Let us therefore commit our way to the Lord and trust Him at all times. Let us cling to the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, our strength, and our eternal joy—to whom belong all glory, honor, and praise.
