| "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." - Isaiah 53:5
"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 5:1
The Bible teaches that God is angry with the wicked every day. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. (Psalm 7:11). God is infinitely holy, and no sin or sinner can enter into His holy presence. God will deal with every sinner in the day of judgment, and the wrath of God will be upon the unrighteous. The message of the gospel is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took our sins upon Him, and the judgment of God was upon His Son on the cross. But God raised Jesus from the dead which signifies the acceptance of our Lord's sacrifice and the payment of sin of everyone who believes. By His stripes we are not healed. We are justified in the presence of our Father, and we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ!
