"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" - Mark 8:36,37
A man toils day and night to satisfy the needs of life. It is good to work hard and plan for tomorrow. But when we do it with motives to become rich or at the expense of other people's loss, or through dishonest means, the end will not be good. Wealth gathered through dishonest means will diminish. Our Lord warned us about the love for riches. For it profits a man nothing to gain the whole world but lose his soul. The price for a human soul is priceless. The soul will be lost in hell without the Lord Jesus Christ. In everything we do, let us do to the glory of Christ. He is the true wealth we should seek and strive for.
