| "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth." - Proverbs 27:1
"But God said to him [the rich man], 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?' So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God." - Luke 12:20,21
The world says, live for yourselves, grow and prosper for by your wealth and prosperity you will be known. This view is totally opposite to what the Bible teaches. There is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself or planning for the future. But placing worldly cares above God and not glorifying Him is a serious problem. Those who trust in their riches or health while not trusting in God will be greatly disappointed at the end, someday. But those who put their trust in God will never regret. God's ways are perfect and His plan for our lives will not disappoint. Let's not boast about tomorrow because of what we have done, but rather, let's glorify God in all things, and give Him all honor and praise.
Praise the Lord!
