"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
The consequence of sin is death. Now we are not talking about just the physical body dying but also sin eternally separates us from God and His goodness. Our God is Holy, and no sin or sinful person can enter into His Holy presence. Our Lord made a way for us by offering His righteousness to all those who believe in His name. He took our sins and offered us His righteousness. Everyone outside of Christ will perish, but those in Him will have eternal life.
Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved!
