"Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, ;Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.' " - Matthew 2:1,2
The wise men came from the East seeking the King of the Jews. They had studied and researched and recognized the star of the King of the Jews. These wise men from East traveled long distance to take a glimpse of the King of the Jews. Jesus is the King of the Jews and the King of the universe, the King of glory. Have you made Him the King of your life. Is He ruling your heart today?
The coming of Jesus in Bethlehem was prophesied several hundred years before it occurred, and when it did occur, not many were ready. Let's be ready today for the King. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords!
