| " 'Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,' which is translated, 'God with us.' " - Matthew 1:23
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." - John 1:14
The act of redeeming the world from sin can only be fulfilled by God. There is no animal sacrifice, or human effort, or even angelic beings that can satisfy God's standard of perfect righteousness. The Word became flesh is God taking the form of a human being and through His blood redeemed His people. As the gospel of John states in 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". The Word is Jesus Christ, the eternal God and Savior. Without Him there is no other way to salvation. God came to dwell among us through His Son Jesus Christ, the Immanuel. Put your trust in Immanuel, He is the only Savior and provider of eternal life.
Praise the Lord!
