"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9
Since the first sin was committed by Adam and Eve, sin has broken fellowship between God and man. But this fellowship was restored through Jesus Christ who gave Himself so man and God can be reconciled. When we give our life to Christ all our sins, past, present, and future, are forgiven. A believer in Christ is not under the curse of sin, but sin has consequences. Our body (flesh) is a body of sin, but grace and love of God is above that. Sin breaks believer's fellowship with God but when we repent and ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart, He is faithful and just to forgive. Let us confess our sins to God and live in fellowship with Him always. If you have not trusted Christ as your Lord and Savior, make that decision today.
