"in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
If we had a mind to grasp the will of God over the grand scheme of things, we would be constantly giving Him glory. We live in a world fallen and corrupted by sin, but God is bigger than everything and His will is perfect. In His will He sent His only begotten Son to suffer and die and the sake of sins of His people. The thought of God dying for His people is far beyond our minds can comprehend. But we know all things work together for good for those who love Him. We know that those who believe in the Lord Jesus will live with Him forever. All this just reminds us to give thanks and give Him glory.
