"O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God - through Jesus Christ our Lord!" - Romans 7:24-25
When we were born in this world, we were born with a body and sin nature. The sin nature was passed on to us from the first sin that was committed and something we will possess until we die. The Bible teaches us that the wages of sin is death and there is nothing we can do about it of our own self. But praise be to God for offering us eternal life in Jesus Christ. Our Lord conquered both sin and death and those who trust in Him will be redeemed from eternal death. The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord! Believe in Him and receive eternal life.
