| "I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth." - Acts 13:47
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9
According to God's sovereign and perfect will, He made the Gospel available to the Gentiles. He desires that all should come to repentance and receive the free gift of salvation through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Prophet Isaiah under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit prophesied that Jews would be a light to the Gentiles and they will take the message of salvation to the ends of the earth. We see this fulfilled when Paul and Barnabas were set aside to preach to the Gentiles and today we see the Gospel being preached to the ends of the earth as a result of the work started by the apostles. Thank God for His longsuffering toward all people and praise Him for His great love.
