"Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." - John 17:17
King David prayed for a clean heart and a steadfast spirit after his sin of adultery. He knew that believers are set apart from sin and God desires a clean heart in His children. Our Lord prayed for all believers that we will be sanctified by the truth of God. The Holy Spirit sanctifies believers from the time of their new birth until they leave this world to be in the presence of the Lord. Let's not quench the Spirit but allow Him to sanctify us and conform us to the image of our Lord.
