"But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man." - John 2:24-25
When people are asked if they would consider themselves as good or bad, majority of them think of themselves as good. It may be because they live a good citizen life, or keep moral values, or perform work of charity, etc. God says our righteousness is as filthy rag, and there is none righteous, no not one. The Lord weighs the heart of every man. Jesus knew what was in man and He knew all men. Let's imitate Christ and let the Holy Spirit conform us to the image of our Lord. It is Christ's sacrifice that justifies us, and it His righteousness that makes us worthy to be in the presence of God.
