"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books." - Revelation 20:12
The Bible has several end time prophecies. Each one of these will be fulfilled in its own time. There is one such prophecy about God's final judgment. Everyone who ever lived will be resurrected to be judged. The dead will be judged according to their works. Sadly, no one who is judged by their works will be justified, because everyone outside of Christ will fall short of the glory of God. They will miserably fall short of God's holy standard to enter into His presence. But praise be to God who makes salvation available to all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who will be saved, will not be saved by their works, but by the righteousness of Christ. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31).
