| "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." - Isaiah 11:6
"And he [angel] cast him [Satan] into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished..." - Revelation 20:3
We see sin and suffering surrounding the entire world and it has been like that since the first sin was committed. Our world is progressively getting worse in terms of God's moral standards and we see the effects of sin in terms of suffering and death. For Christians we have hope. We look forward to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and He will set up His kingdom upon His return. This will be a physical kingdom and Satan will be cast out for a while. This is the millennium period and there will be great peace and blessing for the people of God. We look forward to that day when we will be with our Lord.
