"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 3:18 When God created the human race, He started with one male and one female, Adam and Eve. He made them in His own image. Which means we are very unique compared to rest of God's creation. Not only to rest of the creation, we are very unique, each of us individually in the sight of God. Each human being has his/her own identity. And yet, when sin entered the world, it marred our thinking, and from being perfect, we became corrupt in our minds. Jesus Christ is God in flesh. He took on human flesh and yet truly divine in His nature. He came to reconcile what was lost in the garden of Eden and change us back into His image, perfect and holy. One day, because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, all who believe in Him shall be like Him and we shall see Him as He is. We shall witness His glory and reflect His glory. Don't under estimate your identity. You are unique and precious with Christ in your heart. Praise the Lord!
