"You shall not make for yourself a carved image - any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in water under the earth." - Exodus 20:4 "To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal and compare Me, that we should be alike?" - Isaiah 46:5 Our God is Almighty and Living God. There is no comparison to His power and might. It is beyond our finite mind's comprehension. Yet, man in his ungodliness compares God to a four footed animal or a image carved out in his own imagination. This is a gross sin because man is creating a god out of his imagination. Our eternal God is far beyond what words can describe and beyond man's imagination. Our great God revealed Himself to us through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the visible form of the invisible God. Let's give Him all glory and honor for He alone is worthy. Praise the Lord!
