"The Lord has sworn and will not relent, 'You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.' The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in he day of His wrath." - Psalm 110:4-5 "And when they [the wise men] had come into the house, they saw the young Child [Jesus] with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh." - Matthew 2:11 The wise men presented gifts to the Child Jesus and their gifts had profound prophetic significance. They recognized the deity of Jesus and worshipped Him. Gold represents the Kingship of our Lord, frankincense represents the priesthood of our Lord, and myrrh represents the suffering and death of our Lord. Our Lord fulfilled the prophecy through His death and resurrection and one day He will return as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to rule and reign forever. Christmas is the time of exchanging gifts but only God gave His Son expecting nothing in return from us but to love and trust Him. O' Come Let us Adore Him! Praise the Lord!
