| "The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore." - Psalm 121:7-8
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." - Proverbs 3:5-6
Believers in Jesus Christ have one assurance that no one can take away. Our Lord will never leave nor forsake us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself ( 2 Timothy 2:13). We miss the joy and blessings of salvation when we are faithless and do not walk with the Lord. Trust in the Lord and cast all your cares upon Him. It's easy and tempting to lean on human (our own) understanding, but this is dangerous, because it could be the devil leading us away. In all your ways acknowledge the Lord, and let Him direct your paths. Our maker and creator knows the best for us and we give Him glory when we walk in His will.
