"If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9

Sin robs us of the joy of our salvation. Those that are Christ's have already been washed by the blood of the Lamb at the moment of our conversion. Yet, we believers, as long as we are in the flesh, we are not perfect. When we stumble and sin, we must confess our sins to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Only Christ can restore to us the joy of our salvation. Don't allow sin to deprive the joy of our Lord, but take it to the Lord in prayer.
