"But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." - Matthew 28:5,6

"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." - 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Christ is risen indeed! The Scripture teaches us that Christ is risen, and history also teaches us that the tomb was empty and the Disciples were emboldened as a result of seeing the Lord and they all preached the good news of the risen Saviour to all the places they went, and in fact, eleven of the twelve Disciples even laid their lives for this truth. The core doctrine of the Christian Gospel is that Christ died for our sins and He rose again bodily from the grave on the third day. Christ is risen and by rising again from the dead He gives all those who believe in Him hope of rising again and to be with Him forever. Rejoice if you know the Lord and believe in Him!
