"while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." - 2 Corinthians 4 V18

"Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea." - Revelation 21 V1

We know that the things which we earn and build on earth are short lived and will perish one day, but the things not seen are eternal. There will be a new heaven and a new earth and the old one will no longer exist. A real and wise investment in today's world would be in the kingdom of God, as this investment will never decrease nor degrade and will last for eternity.
