I've been feeling a little down since the Gospel meeting we had in our assembly last night. I had said in yesterday's article that as Christians, we needed to get out there and start being witnesses to others for the Lord Jesus Christ, and people needed to see Christ in us if they were to be saved. Well last night at the Gospel meeting I was tested on those words, and I failed miserably. A student came into our hall selling drawings. But instead of witnessing to him about Jesus Christ, most people passed him by, more interested in holding a Gospel meeting than actually speaking to the lost about salvation. I am to blame, I should have spoken to him, but I didn't because I thought others would. But we can't use that excuse, if we don't go and speak to them about salvation, who else will? The Lord said in Isaiah 6:8, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?". That has been the question posed down through the centuries. And the answer must always be the same. Not, "The minister will go for us", or "The elders will go for us". The answer has to be, "Here am I; send me". Well I need to start being a better witness for Jesus Christ. In my personal life too, not just online. But I have made a poll to see what others think about the content of the website, and to see if it can be improved in any way so we can be better witnesses for Jesus Christ. The poll is at the lower left hand side of the screen. Please vote, and I especially value your prayers too that I might be a better witness for the Lord.
