"Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." - Romans 8:27
God knows the very thoughts we think, even before they arise within us. He knows the intents and counsels of every heart, and no wisdom or device can stand against our God. Though believers in the Lord Jesus Christ still dwell in the flesh, our Lord, through the Holy Spirit, comforts us, leads us, and makes intercession on our behalf. One day we will be freed from this flesh and all its desires, and in glorified bodies we will serve the Lord perfectly. Until that blessed day, let us submit our thoughts and desires to the Lord and yield ourselves to His gracious leading.
