| "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." - Isaiah 55:1
"On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." - John 7:37,38
Lord Jesus always used metaphors such as He is 'the Bread of life', or 'He is the Door', and more to convey great spiritual truth and that He is the only way to salvation. In the book of Isaiah, we see God calling the people of Israel to come to the source of water and food, which is God Himself, to quench and feed. Without God we cannot experience the true riches of life and peace. Lord Jesus is the source of all life, and without Him all physical and spiritual life will perish. He who believes in Jesus Christ, out of Him will flow rivers of living water. Our Lord is the source of living water, and He freely invites all people to come and drink.
Praise the Lord!
