"Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;" - Romans 3:20-22 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23 God gave ten commandments to Israel and out of which several (about 613) laws were derived for the Jewish people to follow. But looking at the history of Israel, people failed miserably to observe the laws and in His time Jesus condemned the Pharisees and the scribes for their hypocrisy about following the law. The law was given to reveal the weakness of man and the need of a Savior. No man is justified by keeping the law, for no one can keep the law in its entirety. The wages of sin is death but God Himself provided the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ His Son to all who believe. Praise the Lord!
