"...The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the men of understanding, nor favor to the men of skill; but time and change happens to them all." - Ecclesiastes 9:11
We live in a world that is perishing. Everything deteriorates and returns to the dust, and yet we labor and sweat for gathering things and storing for the future. It is good to save, but when we take our eyes away from Jesus, nothing that we gather really matters. The Lord gives us victory and the Lord gives us strength, and we ought to use all of it for His glory. Let the Lord build our house and watch over our city, because there are a lot of things not in our control and He sees it all. When time and change happens to all then why not to trust Him who controls both?
