"Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him." - 1 Kings 19:18 "Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, 'Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.' " - Acts 18:9 At times we may feel lonely and alone, and feel defeated in our Christian walk. In such times we forget that God is still besides us and He has not forsaken us. Elijah, the great prophet of God, experienced loneliness and defeat but God reminded him of the seven thousand whom He preserved. Apostle Paul, the great Apostle of our Lord, was frustrated when the message of truth was rejected by the Jews and he constantly faced persecution from them, but our Lord reminded Paul that He had many people in that city, and not to keep silent but preach the Gospel. Let's not be discouraged with our surroundings and current situation in the world, but let's preach the Gospel to the lost world, and keep the work of our Lord going. Praise the Lord!
