"But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead." - Luke 16:31

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day" - John 6:44

The Father draws men to the Son and those whom the Father gives to the Son, not one will be lost. Salvation is an act of God and we have no contribution to it. It is our responsibility to come to the Son and by faith receive Him when we hear the voice of the Spirit. The Word of God is studied by many from an academic point of view but it is God our Father who changes the heart into believing His Son. Many are called but a few are chosen. So, today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart (Heb 3:15).
