"...Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams." - 1 Samuel 15:22

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and  contrite heart - these, O God, You will not despise." - Psalm 51:17

In many religions of the world people offer sacrifices to their gods to appease and for prosperity. The God of the Bible cannot be appeased by sacrifice but through faith in Jesus Christ. God delights in the prayer of the faithful and those who come to Him through Jesus Christ our Lord, them He will forgive and bless. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart. Gold or silver sacrifices mean nothing to Him, so, let s go before our God with our prayers and a humble heart. Let us go to Him with a repentant heart.
Praise the Lord!
