"So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet saying: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." " - Matthew 1:22, 23 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." - John 1:14 God fulfilled that which He spoke through the prophets that He would redeem His people and He Himself would provide the sacrifice. The Jews during Jesus' time did not comprehend the truth of God becoming flesh and as a result of their unbelief they rejected the Messiah and killed Him. God works in mysterious ways but He is the grand Weaver who ultimately will bring glory to His name. Jesus Christ is God incarnate, born of a virgin and dwelt among men. He is God with us and full of grace and truth. Those who believe in Him to them He will give the right to become children of God. Praise the Lord! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
