"Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." - Genesis 3:4-5 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it." - John 8:44 The devil's been in the deceiving business since the beginning of creation. He takes the truth of God of twists it and causes people of disobey God. Only the Spirit of God gives us the wisdom to discern between the truth and the lie. Let's hold fast to the truth taught in the scripture and pray to God to keep us from all evil. Praise God! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
