"For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 3 V11 "Buy even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed." - Galatians 1 V8 Christians should never make any kind of compromise with any other religion in order to gain their favor. The gospel is simple and unique and the core Christian doctrines are unalterable. Jesus Christ is God in flesh and He laid the foundation for His Church. He purchased His own with His own blood and died and rose again, thus conquering the sting of sin and death. Apostle Paul writing to the Galatians audience emphasized the importance of true gospel to the extent that even if an angel preaches any other gospel than what is laid, let that angel be accursed. Let's love the unbelievers and tell them the truth of the gospel, but let's not take any part in anything that speaks contrary to the gospel. Jesus Christ is the Way , the Truth, and the Life. He alone is the foundation of the Church. Praise the Lord! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
