"Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater that his master.' If they persecuted Me they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also." - John 15 V20

"that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this." - 1 Thessalonians 3 V3

Christ did not promise His followers happiness on earth when they serve Him. On the contrary, He reminded His followers to be ready for persecutions, because He Himself was persecuted. We are appointed for afflictions because we are in Satan's territory while on earth. God's uses our suffering for His glory and one day He will establish His kingdom on earth and then it will be joy and happiness for all those who trusted in Him. The road ahead is rough, but hang on, and cling to Christ. Remember, He always goes with us through our sufferings. Praise God for His faithfulness!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
