"For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5 V7

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony." - Hebrews 11 V1

Whether in the old testament or in the new testament era, people were saved by faith. The elders (old testament saints) obtained favor from God through faith. They believed in God for providing the Messiah (Saviour) and they looked forward toward it with obedience to God. Today, we look back in the finished work of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, and by faith receive Him as our Lord and Saviour. Without faith it is impossible to please God or to be saved. Though we have not see the Lord or the apostles, we by faith believe in the Word of God and walk by faith. One day our faith will be sight, and all that we have believed by faith will be evident to the whole world. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
