"...We ought to obey God rather than men" - Acts 5 V29

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." - 1 Timothy 2 V1,2

We are commanded to pray for those in authority even though the people in authority are not believers. But when it comes to faith and doing that which is right, we ought to obey God rather than men. For this cause the early century saw many martyrs for Jesus Christ because these men and women rather obey God than denounce their faith in Jesus Christ. Let's live our lives for Christ while submitting to the authority of men and women appointed by God to rule the nation. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
